The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a Monitor and Reporting Specialist to serve as a monitoring and reporting specialist. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of statistical and research methods and techniques, as well as experience in collecting and compiling data from computerized files. The position requires the ability to work overtime and/or outside regular business hours.
Requirements
- Four years of college with courses in statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, and related fields
- One year of professional experience in the development and application of research designs and statistical methods and techniques
- Two years of professional experience applying advanced statistical and research methods and techniques in the collection, summarization, manipulation, and analysis of computer data
- Two years of professional experience collecting and compiling data from computerized files, verifying accuracy, conducting advanced statistical analysis, and reporting patterns of inconsistencies
- Two years of professional experience reviewing and analyzing existing reports for accuracy of data, trends, and projections
- Two years of professional experience creating data reports that include methods and techniques for collection and analysis development
- Two years of professional experience applying standard statistical techniques to generate data for reporting purposes
