Job Description
Stantec is seeking an Integrity Engineer to join their Energy & Resources business line in Houston, Texas. The role involves designing and evaluating Cathodic Protection (CP) systems, assisting with corrosion mitigation, and contributing to Stantec’s continuous improvement efforts. The position offers a chance to work on renewable energy solutions, modernize the electric grid, and develop natural gas infrastructure.
Requirements
- Design and evaluate Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and stray current mitigation.
- Assist in field data collection for AC mitigation.
- Perform third party reviews of corrosion and cathodic protection reports and designs.
- Delivery of accurate, timely and cost effective integrity services.
- Maintain current on applicable pipeline and integrity codes and standards.
- Design CP systems and DC interference mitigation systems.
- Assess CP (and potentially AC interference) survey data.
- Perform engineering calculations.
- Coordinate installation of AC mitigation and cathodic protection.
- Develop detailed designs and collaborate with drafting personnel.
- Participate in field work such as soil resistivity testing.
