Job Description
SpruceID is a team rebuilding trusted digital identity interactions with open source software. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly with public sector partners to design, build, and deploy solutions. You'll handle customer delivery, security, and accessibility standards, representing SpruceID on the ground and managing customer deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping backend software in statically typed languages (C#, Rust, Go, or Java).
- Experience shipping modern web frontends that meet accessibility and security standards.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts and deliver production systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and devops practices.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers in a consulting or delivery role.
- Based in the US and excited to engage with state government partners.
