Job Description
Spectrum Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver/Detention Officer (DO) to provide security and support services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position involves transporting and caring for alien detainees under the jurisdiction of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The role is subject to a thorough background check and may require an extended waiting period for clearance. The position requires a combination of driving experience and a commitment to public trust.
Requirements
- Prior experience guarding prisoners and detainees as a correctional officer, jailer, or detention office.
- Transportation activities
- Bachelor's degree or related professional training, or six months of security experience.
- Licensed Commercial Driving experience with air brakes and passenger endorsement.
- Willingness to work on-call and accept sporadic assignments.
- Pass a medical examination and be free of physical ailments.
- No criminal record.
- No illegal substance use history.
- Good driving record.
- Good credit history.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Be registered with BSIS as an Armed Security Guard.
- Possess current valid First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
