Job Description
Operates multi-excision earthmoving equipment to preserve and maintain ditches, canals, and levee systems, inspecting equipment for safety issues and adhering to safe work practices and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience operating and transporting multiple pieces of heavy equipment
- Valid State of Florida Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake and tanker endorsements
- Certification in Rigging, Forklift Operations, First Aid and CPR/AED
- Ability to obtain pump station assistant status within 6 months and/or pump station operator status within 12 months
