Simpson Housing Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness by providing a continuum of housing and support services. Since its founding in 1982 as an emergency shelter, the organization now operates an extended-stay shelter, rapid rehousing, and long-term supportive housing for youth, single adults, and families. It also offers comprehensive developmental and educational programs for children, including early childhood and youth mentoring. Annually, Simpson serves approximately 2,000 individuals, including 300 families and 650 children, demonstrating its capacity to deliver tailored, evidence-based interventions. The organization’s longevity, integrated service model, and focus on empowerment distinguish it as a leader in the homelessness-reduction field.

Overnight Shelter Advocate
High school diploma or GED, adequate written and verbal communication skills, patience, flexibility, ability to listen, compassion and assertiveness
Resident Connections Coordinator
Bachelor's degree in human services and/or related field of study, experience working with individuals who are homeless or have experienced homelessness, and broad knowledge of housing resources
Housing Navigator
High school diploma, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills required
Single Adult Program Manager
4 years of experience in social services, 2 years in administration, ability to build and lead effective teams
Family Support Specialist
1 year of experience in providing direct social services, Bachelor's degree in Human Services, driver's license, and strong computer skills required
Case Manager - Simpson Community Apartments
Bachelor's degree in human services and/or related field of study, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience working with individuals who are homeless or have mental health and/or chemical health concerns
Case Manager
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, or relevant experience, required. Minimum 1 year's experience in providing direct social services desired
Cook
1+ year commercial kitchen experience, industrial equipment skills, and ability to work independently
Early Childhood Home Visitor
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, Nursing, Family Sciences or related field, with 0-2 years of experience
Youth and Young Parent Support Specialist
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, or relevant experience is required. 1-year experience in providing direct social services is desired
