Senior Consulting Engineer, Marine Structural

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is a national engineering firm committed to delivering holistic advice for clients' complex challenges. We are seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer, Marine Structural to manage a team of marine designers, lead on designs, and work with clients and contractors to deliver projects.

Requirements

• M.S. degree in Civil, Structural, Engineering
• 9+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of structural concrete, prestressed concrete and steel structures
• Fluency on ASCE 61 and PIANC Seismic design of Port Structures Guidelines
• Registered professional engineer in the United States, or ability to obtain within 12 months of joining SGH
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Communication skills: excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving ability: capability to solve minor or complex problems using data, logic, and judgment
