Job Description
The structural design team manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the team, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures. This role involves recruitment, onboarding, and overseeing ongoing development. The manager will also provide creative direction in the design of structures for trade show floors and event spaces, maintaining accuracy and collaboration with Operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in convention services, exhibitions, or a related industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3DS Max (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and WebEx
- Experience with exhibit systems and components (e.g., BeMatrix, Maxima, Rexframe) and IRIS Design Software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
