Painters

Industrial Painters perform tasks such as cleaning and preparing surfaces, preparing paints, applying paint, and cleaning work areas. They must also maintain equipment and monitor conditions.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial equipment painting and process piping
• Experience with wet painting using a gun
• Experience with blasting and all types of blasting media; sand, black beauty, glass bead, etc.
• Understanding of N.A.C.E requirements
• Ability to gauge millage application and document with the use of a millage tester
• Ability to differentiate between colors
• Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
• Ability to work with all levels of employees
• Strong communication skills
