Painters

Industrial Painters perform tasks to accomplish their primary goal of painting and coating surfaces. They prepare surfaces, prepare paints, apply paint, clean work areas, maintain equipment, and monitor conditions.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial equipment painting and process piping
• Experience with wet painting using a gun
• Experience with blasting and all types of blasting media
• Understanding of N.A.C.E requirements
• Ability to gauge millage application and document with the use of a millage tester
• Ability to differentiate between colors
• Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
• Ability to work with all levels of employees
• Strong communication skills
