Job Description
Operates multi excavation earthmoving equipment to preserve and maintain ditches, canals, and levee systems. Inspects equipment for safety issues and adheres to safe work practices. Reads and understands signs, signals, and operating manuals. Loads, hauls, and dumps material operating a 15–25-yard dump truck and other equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience operating and transporting multiple pieces of heavy equipment
- Valid State of Florida Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake and tanker endorsements
- Certification in Rigging, Forklift Operations, First Aid and CPR/AED
