Head of Customs & Trade Compliance

We are looking for a Head of Customs & Trade Compliance to build the compliance foundation for our Benelux organization. The role involves managing a team, ensuring correct procedures and working instructions, and building on the compliance framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs and trade compliance, knowledge of EU customs legislation, and experience with AEO, audits, and tax representation.

Requirements

• HBO/WO level
• 7-10 years of experience in Customs & Trade Compliance
• Sturdy knowledge of EU customs legislation (UCC/DWU) and declaration processes
• Experience with AEO, audits, and tax representation
• Familiar with logistics, forwarding, or 3PL
