Job Description
The Supervisor, Pipe & Mechanical is responsible for managing the department’s trades workers. This role involves planning, supervising, executing, and ensuring all work aligns with shipyard safety standards, quality, and environmental regulations. It requires regular performance management, trade employee assistance, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The position is fully on-site at 203 East Esplanade in North Vancouver, BC.
Requirements
- College degree or trades certification preferred.
- 5+ years of related trades experience or advanced education with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Proficiency in heavy manufacturing (welding, metal fabrication, electrical, pipefitting, mechanical, rigging).
- Supervisory experience.
