Job Description
This role involves designing transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range. Responsibilities include mentoring less experienced team members, coordinating design activities, preparing reports, and reviewing design work. This is a full-time, regular position with a hybrid work arrangement.
Requirements
- BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- 12 or more years of transmission design experience
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD software
- Experience preparing scopes of work and conceptual designs
- Experience working directly with clients on transmission lines
- Knowledge of engineering standards including NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE and ANSI
- Valued skills and experience: PE license, PMP certification, construction experience
- Familiarity with ArcGIS
