Job Description
The Industrial Machine System Jr. Apprentice is responsible for learning various industrial maintenance practices through a 4000-hour apprenticeship program, including setup and maintenance of automated and manual machines, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and replacement and repair of components.
Requirements
- Must enjoy working with your hands.
- Experience with saws, lathes, mills, and surface grinders is a plus
- Experience with bench fittings and assembly of machinery or engines is a plus
- Experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- A high mechanical aptitude.
- Above average math skills.
- Must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
- Must be willing to work in a high-decibel noise environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs from floor to waist on a regular basis.
- A track record of adhering to all applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations.
