Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice will work under the supervision of a Superintendent Journeyman HET to service and repair heavy equipment, and support the Mechanic Shop. Responsibilities include performing general shop labour and housekeeping duties, driving equipment and trucks, and troubleshooting and solving problems.
Requirements
- Certified Apprentice HET with active AIT Apprenticeship records
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract
- Prior knowledge of Heavy equipment and how to maintain them
- Ability to troubleshoot and self-start to solve problems
- Experience in leadership roles will be considered an asset
