Job Description
Samaritan Daytop Village is seeking an Employment Specialist to provide guidance to families navigating the NYC Human Resources Administration system and assist with the enrollment of the NYC ACCESS program. The role involves career guidance, vocational assessments, and referral of employment opportunities. The specialist will partner with workforce development centers to help clients obtain employment and support their personal growth.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency and 2+ years of relevant work experience with the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) or other similar city-operated organization.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
