Job Description
RS&H is seeking a Northwest Florida Area Water Resources Discipline Leader to oversee a team of engineers in Tallahassee, Florida. The role involves leading a team of water resources professionals, developing a discipline team, creating a positive work environment, overseeing projects, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and leadership.
Requirements
- Active, good-standing Professional Engineering license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive water resources engineering design experience.
- Proven experience in leading and designing stormwater management for transportation-related infrastructure.
- Proven experience in providing technical guidance to staff.
- Proven experience with business development including client relationship development, proposal writing, and presentations.
- Proven track record of leadership, with a strong understanding of effective management practices.
- Demonstrated project and budget management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microstation Open Roads Designer and drainage design software including ICPR, HY-8, and HEC (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.).
