This role is for a Shipowner Representative (Assistant Manager), serving as a liaison between shipowners and management teams. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, resolving owner concerns, ensuring compliance, and providing support with budgets and contracts. The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on ship management or operations
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations and practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
