Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant prepares rooms for exams, takes and documents vital signs and weights, and assists in overall participant care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required
• Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant with one of the National Certifying organizations
• One year of experience with a frail or elderly population preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Efficient with computer applications such as email, navigating the internet, and Electronic Health Records
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
