The Medical Assistant prepares rooms for exams, takes and documents vital signs and weights, and assists in overall participant care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required
- Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant with one of the National Certifying organizations
- One year of experience with a frail or elderly population preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient with computer applications such as email, navigating the internet, and Electronic Health Records
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
