Job Description
RiskSpan is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their accounting team, focusing on accounts payable, revenue recognition, monthly reconciliations, cash management, and accurate financial reporting. The role involves managing vendor invoices, reviewing revenue, preparing journal entries, and supporting close processes. This is a fast-paced role in a customer-facing environment.
Requirements
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Apply appropriate revenue recognition principles.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor cash positions and forecast cash requirements.
- Prepare accrual entries and journal entries.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Assist with audit requests and provide necessary documentation.
