Outside Parts Sales Representative to increase parts sales with existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts in assigned territory. Solicit new business and maintain accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts.
Requirements
- Regularly visits to assigned customers and proactively prospects for new customers.
- Communicates parts orders and delivery instructions to counter people.
- Keeps abreast of new products, competition, and pricing trends.
- Promotes the sales of parts and accessories and is an advisor to wholesale or retail customers.
- Follows up on and confirms customer requirements and orders to ensure satisfaction.
- Completes necessary paperwork for processing warranty claims.
- Reviews special orders and pricing with Parts Sales Manager for approvals.
- Deliver orders and pick-up returns from customers.
- Effectively and efficiently manages required reports and paperwork (budgets, travel, call reports, expense reports, etc.).
- Maintains customer records and logs.
- Lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds frequently.
