We are seeking a Young Peoples Drug and Alcohol Worker to join our team at North Yorkshire Horizons. The role involves working with young people aged 10-19 and up to 25 with SEND who need specialist support around drug and alcohol use. As a vital member of our team, you will deliver structured, evidence-based interventions to support and empower individuals and divert them away from substance use.
Requirements
- Experience of working with young people and managing a caseload of service users
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues
- Ability to implement and monitor risk assessments and maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Office programmes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing
