We are seeking a Drug and Alcohol Assertive Outreach Worker to join our North Yorkshire Horizons service in Scarborough. The role will involve delivering harm reduction interventions, engaging with individuals experiencing problematic drug and alcohol use, and working towards supporting a small caseload of cases towards engaging with wider treatment provision and support.
Requirements
- Proven experience of being able to engage with people
- An understanding of the issues that people face in their everyday lives, in regard to drug and alcohol
- Knowledge of completing service user assessments including comprehensive and risk assessments
- A level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
- Good IT skills
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
