Certified English Teacher

Richard Milburn Academy seeks a High School English Teacher for the 2024/2025 School Year. The successful candidate will help students learn subject matter and skills, master challenging standards, and meet state and local requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Valid teacher certification
• Prior experience or formal training in working with 'at-risk' students (preferred)
• Ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with various constituencies
• Ability to effectively educate and manage students from varying backgrounds and socio-economic levels
