We’re a U.S.-based small business finance company that funds America’s small businesses. We're seeking a Paralegal to help build our best-in-class legal/compliance function and support our small business financing operations. The role is located in Alexandria, Virginia, and is an in-office position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program (preferred)
- 2–3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal
- Experience in legal collections (preferred, but not required)
- Familiarity with Virginia court procedures in commercial matters
- Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
- Strong drafting and document management discipline
- Familiarity with state small-business financing disclosure frameworks
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, and detail orientation
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems (desirable)
