Head of Banking Systems

We are seeking a Head of Banking Systems to lead engineering efforts behind our core banking backend, including building and operating distributed systems. The role requires hands-on experience in architectural decisions, troubleshooting, scaling services, and mentoring engineering teams. The company has a strong technical foundation with AWS EKS, Java, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Prometheus.

Requirements

• Solid background in Java backend development
• Experience in building banking products (retail banking or fintech preferable)
• Ability to collaborate with Product team
• Prior experience working in regulated environments is a plus
• Fluent Russian and English languages
