Job Description
The Nutrition Aide prepares patient meals, delivers them according to established guidelines, and performs assigned cleaning tasks. They contribute to menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining food safety and quality standards. Staffing and customer care are also part of the role.
Requirements
- Assist in the preparation of meals.
- Deliver patient meals according to established guidelines.
- Retrieve, wash, and store dishes.
- Complete assigned cleaning per schedule.
- Communicate with cooks, aides, and diet clerk.
- Stock patient care areas.
- Prepare and serve café items.
- Utilize cashiering system.
- Assist in storing food and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
