Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Ads API team. This role focuses on building a large, scalable platform for programmatic advertising, enabling advertisers and partners to access their advertising ecosystem. The team will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure high quality platform operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years managing (including coaching, mentoring, developing) engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from inception to completion, acting as the primary agent of change.
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating scalable, public-facing APIs (e.g., REST, gRPC)
- Experience with at least two general programming languages (Python, Go, Scala, Java, or C++)
- Excellent communication skills
