Job Description
The Control Room Operator I/II will be responsible for monitoring and controlling generation facilities in Ontario, the USA and globally. This role involves investigating system alarms, operating SCADA systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various teams. The operator will also handle CCTV security and report to a supervisor.
Requirements
- Conduct ongoing review of PV and BESS facilities.
- Investigate and validate system alarms.
- Remotely investigate, troubleshoot and rectify assets on site.
- Assign events/alarms to local O&M teams.
- Monitor the facilities’ CCTV security systems.
- Operate and control remotely the facilities’ SCADA systems.
- Prepare reports to the governing and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards.
- Support ISO 9001 activities.
