Job Description
Radiant is a startup focused on developing and manufacturing portable nuclear microreactors. They are seeking a Senior Motor Design Engineer to develop a high-speed alternator for the reactor, collaborating with other engineering teams. The role involves design, analysis, simulation, and component selection within a fast-paced environment focused on commercializing nuclear power.
Requirements
- B.S. in electrical engineering specializing in electric motors
- 5+ years of design experience designing high-voltage and high-power electric motors and/or generators
- Proficiency in electromagnetic design and analysis software like Ansys Motor CAD and Maxwell or equivalent
- 8+ years of generator design
