Job Description
Public Citizen is seeking a Press Officer to join their communications team and publicize their lawsuits against the Trump administration. The role involves crafting and executing communications strategies, building relationships with journalists, and handling media outreach. This is a part-time position focused on raising awareness of the legal issues the organization is fighting.
Requirements
- Craft and execute comprehensive strategic communications plans.
- Build relationships with journalists.
- Write and edit press releases, talking points, and other materials.
- Assist with media briefings and events.
- Stay updated on news and engage in rapid response.
