Paraprofessional - Propel Hazelwood

Propel seeks a Paraprofessional for our Special Education Department at Propel Hazelwood School. The Paraprofessional will provide academic, behavioral, and social emotional support to scholars in large and small groups or individually. This position is available starting the 2025-2026 school year in August.

Requirements

• An Associate Degree or at least 48 college credits or completion of the ParaPro Test in lieu of college credits
• Education related Field or Work Experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a non-traditional, Urban education environment
• A positive, high-energy attitude
• Demonstrable ability to build relationships with students
• High level of personal organization and planning
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Willingness to participate in ongoing Professional Development
• A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
