Pediatric Urgent Care-Registered Nurse (Part-time & Per-diem) Tarzana, CA

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions aligned with the mission, vision, and goals of PM Pediatrics. The role involves providing clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations, and requires pediatric experience, active state nursing license, and current Basic Life Support certification.

Requirements

• Pediatric experience
• Active state nursing license
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
• Skill in rapid assessment of the critical presentation of the pediatric population
• Ability to use sound reasoning and judgment and act calmly in emergencies
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally
