Planar is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of indoor and outdoor LED display products for live events, exhibitions, and staging applications. The role requires strong technical knowledge of LED display technology, customer relationship management, and the ability to present solutions within fast-paced environments. This position will focus on maximizing revenue and building strong relationships with production companies and event technology providers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in Rental & Staging or live events industry.
- Proven success in selling LED displays or related event technology solutions.
- Established relationships with R&S production companies and rental houses.
- Solid technical understanding of LED displays (pixel pitch, resolution, etc.).
- Working knowledge of LED processing systems (Novastar, Brompton, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven live events environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).
