Director of Artistic Planning & Administration

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Director of Artistic Planning & Administration to manage and execute the implementation of classical programming. The Director will oversee guest artist contracting, budget administration, and collaborations with artists, conductors, and community partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Music or equivalent
• At least seven years of experience in music environment with minimum of two years in artistic planning
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation and contract administration skills
