Job Description
The Quality Manager will lead the Quality department and plant quality processes, ensuring consistent product production and adherence to established standards. This role involves interpreting quality control philosophy, directing inspection activities, analyzing performance data, and coordinating with other departments to improve product reliability and cost-effectiveness. The manager will also investigate customer complaints and ensure supplier quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control or a related field.
- Eight (8) years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor.
- Eight years of experience in the application of advanced quality tools including SPC, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action; i.e. 8D, 5-Why, A3's, or other formats), DOE, Control Plans, MSA/GR&R, PFMEA, and deployment of these tools in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Six (6) years of negotiation experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products.
