Student Parent Support Worker

The Student Parent Support Worker is responsible for building relationships and facilitating ongoing communication with students, parents/guardians, and secondary school staff to support students' academic success. The role involves providing student support, delivering programming, and collaborating with teammates to prepare and deliver virtual and in-person evening programming.

Requirements

• University degree in education, social work or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working with high school age youth from diverse backgrounds
• Experience planning and delivering high quality programming for youth
• Experience in case management and resource, service and support collaboration

Benefits

• Temporary full-time position with a 1-year contract
• 35 hours per week (70 hours bi-weekly)
• Salary: $26.834/hr - $31.569/hr
