Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre (PQCHC) is a long-standing, non-profit community health center founded in 1979 in Ontario. With a volunteer Board of Directors and a staff of over 347 full-time and part-time employees supported by more than 400 volunteers, PQCHC delivers a broad range of primary and preventive health services to a diverse, bilingual population. The center's core focus is on partnership-based care, working closely with individuals, families and community groups—especially those who are most vulnerable—to help them reach their full potential. The Registered Social Worker is a core member of the West Ottawa HART Hub’s interdisciplinary team, providing trauma-informed, harm reduction–based psychosocial assessment, brief therapy, crisis response, care coordination, group facilitation, and system navigation for clients accessing substance use health services.
