Substation Technician C

Pike is seeking a Substation Technician C to perform maintenance and repair of substation equipment and systems. The role requires working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various heavy equipment. This position often involves long hours during emergencies and may require travel to another state. It is a full-time, on-call position with frequent overtime.

Requirements

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor
• Must be capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 feet
• Must be capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs
• Must be capable of working in confined spaces/areas
• Must be able to learn various heavy equipment
• Knowledge of substation structural drawings
• Willing to work over-time or long hours during emergency conditions
