Substation Technician A

Substation Technician- A is seeking a qualified individual to join their team and maintain the maintenance, repair, and testing of substation equipment/systems. The position involves working in confined spaces, elevated work areas, with various construction equipment, and requires leadership skills. Responsibilities include working with high-voltage systems, driving a vehicle, and adhering to company safety protocols.

Requirements

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor
• Must be able to climb up to 125 feet and lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Commercial Drivers’ License
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and elevated areas
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of substation systems and safety standards
• Ability to interpret substation drawings
