Job Description
Paystand is a fintech company revolutionizing financial processes with blockchain technology. They are seeking a Director of Finance Transformation & Controllership to lead their accounting, treasury, and global payroll operations. This hands-on role requires strategic finance acumen and operational execution, with oversight of U.S. and Mexican teams, as well as leadership in Latin America (especially Mexico). The company is poised for future growth and IPO readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including exposure to IPO-prep or public company environments
- Expertise in accounting, audit, SOX-readiness, and financial governance
- Proven success managing teams in the U.S. and internationally
- Familiarity with Mexican accounting and payroll (highly preferred)
- CPA or Chartered Accountant required
- Must be able to travel 10–15% (up to once per quarter)
- Fluent Spanish a plus
