PayPal UK Limited is seeking a dynamic and driven subject matter expert to join their high-performing UK Risk and Compliance team as Manager, UK Compliance. The role involves developing Compliance strategies, frameworks, and policies, and ensuring effective implementation across all functions of the UK and Global business.
Requirements
- Degree level education
- Excellent English language communication skills, verbal and written
- 3+ years in the UK financial industry with proven experience in a compliance function
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of payments, SME merchant propositions, digital currency / crypto assets and or continuous compliance monitoring
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills and demonstrable change management experience
- Sound decision making and judgement, calmness under pressure, and the ability to effectively prioritise and delegate
- Strong interpersonal skills, confident engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, in a fast-paced, growth focused environment
- Experience with UK regulators and the regulatory exam process in a financial institution
- Extensive knowledge of FCA & PSR requirements plus appreciation of broader UK regulatory landscape
- High energy and creativity with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work within a matrix environment and cross functionally with commercial, operations and technology functions
