Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to lead and manage all mill process control systems. This role provides technical leadership, supports Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of DCS, PLCs, scanners, camera systems, and related hardware/software.
Requirements
- Lead and supervise process control activities with a strong focus on safety and housekeeping
- Standardize control system practices across PaperWorks facilities
- Develop and monitor strategic goals for process control performance
- Research and implement new technologies to improve system reliability
- Manage, program, and maintain all process control hardware and software
- Oversee system backups, documentation, and change records
- Train operators and E&I technicians on PLCs, drives, and network troubleshooting
- Support vendor installations and commissioning
- Maintain parts inventory and maintenance records
- Provide emergency troubleshooting and off‐shift support as needed
