Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commvault Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical support to enterprise customers for Commvaults backup, recovery, and data management suite.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical or customer support, preferably in enterprise data backup and recovery environments.
- Solid hands-on expertise with Commvault software; familiarity with tools like Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, or Avamar is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and monitoring enterprise backup solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese or English and Japanese.
- Experience with Commvault Suite (Backup, Restore, Disaster Recovery).
- VMware, Hyper-V administration knowledge.
- Data backup and archive management expertise.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
- Disaster recovery planning and testing exposure.
- Customer-first attitude and problem-solving mindset.
