Job Description
We are seeking a Garage Door Helper Technician in our Calgary branch for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves assisting in the service and/or installation of residential or commercial doors, with learning opportunities and potential for advancement. It’s a hands-on position with responsibility for quality workmanship, safety, and communication.
Requirements
- Participating in installing Sectional doors (FinDoor, Rolling steel, Fire Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold)
- D&A Testing for site access or post-incident
- Championing safety standards
- Working with hand tools, electric tools, lifts, and ladders
- Actively participating in learning and potential progression to Lead Technician
- Regular communication with scheduler, providing solutions
- Safe transportation of products
- Accountability for safety training and tickets
- Wearing PPE
- General warehouse duties
- Attendance and punctuality
