Garage Door Helper

We are seeking a Garage Door Installer Helper for a permanent, full-time position in the Fort McMurray branch. The role involves assisting with the installation and servicing of overhead doors, with learning opportunities and potential for advancement. It's a two-person crew position reporting to the Field Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Participating in installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold
• D&A Testing for site access or post incident
• Championing safety standards
• Working with hand tools, electric tools, lifts, and ladders
• Taking direction from the Lead Technician
• Out of town travel for installation and service work
• Active participation in learning the skill with intention to progress to a Lead Technician
• Effective assessment of job scope
• Wearing a hard hat and other PPE
• General warehouse duties
