Body Shop Estimator

Appraises vehicle damage to determine cost of repair for insurance claim settlement. Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage. Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 - 3 years previous experience preferred.
