Job Description
On Time Engineers is seeking a CAM Programmer for our client in Eindhoven. The role involves programming CNC machines, setting up and running production, and working with Heidenhain-controlled machines. The CAM Programmer works with Edgecam, Heidenhain-controlled 5-axis machining centers, and has a focus on accuracy, cycle time, and tool wear.
Requirements
- Program complex CNC processing with Edgecam
- Translate 3D models into efficient, error-free CAM programs
- Work with Heidenhain-controlled 5-axis machining centers
- Develop and optimize processing strategies
- Simulate, test, and refine programs
- Set up CNC machines independently
- Participate in production
- Guide the production process
- Support and advise colleagues on technical issues
- Share knowledge and experience within the team
