Job Description
We are seeking a Teacher 2 (Mathematics) to join our team at the Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility. As a Teacher 2, you will be responsible for assessing the educational needs of youth and developing and implementing lesson plans to address those needs. You will also provide instruction with individual assistance, counsel students concerning their performance and behavior, and organize and/or monitor extracurricular activities. Requirements
- Assess educational needs of youth: develop and implement lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training
- Provide instruction with individual assistance
- Counsel students concerning their performance, behavior and/or personal problems
- Organize and/or monitor extracurricular activities if assigned
